Design & Installation

The JS1X RR Minion uses a poplar Rhoads body, maple neck, amaranth fingerboard, black hardware, and pearloid sharkfin inlays. Its neck is bolted on with a recessed-screw four-bolt neck plate, while the fingerboard carries a 12-inch radius and black plastic nut. The body finish is Satin Black and the neck has a satin finish.

For setup, strings load through the body at the hardtail bridge and are adjusted at the six block saddles. The guitar ships with nickel-plated steel .009-.042 gauge strings, and Jackson lists both a saddle-height wrench and truss-rod wrench as included accessories.
