This item Gretsch G5425 Electromatic Jet Club Electric Guitar, Black $349.99
Fender CHAMPION II 25 25-Watt 8" Guitar Combo Amp $149.99
Bundle total: $499.98

The Gretsch G5425 Electromatic Jet Club is a right-handed, single-cut electric guitar finished in Black. Its chambered basswood body and arched laminated maple top provide a compact Jet-style platform with reduced body weight compared with a fully solid construction. It is suited to players seeking a straightforward Gretsch-format electric guitar with dual humbuckers and traditional controls.

Two Gretsch Dual-Coil humbucking pickups provide neck, bridge, or combined pickup selections through a three-position toggle switch. A master volume and master tone control keep operation simple while allowing players to shape output level and overall brightness. This layout works well for players who prefer direct control access without separate pickup-volume knobs.

The 24.6-inch scale maple neck uses a rosewood fingerboard with a 12-inch radius and 22 medium-jumbo frets. Neo-Classic thumbnail inlays provide clear position markers, while the bolt-on neck construction is part of the G5425's design. A synthetic bone nut and 1.6875-inch nut width complete the playing platform.

An Anchored Adjusto-Matic bridge and stop tailpiece provide fixed-bridge string anchoring and adjustable intonation. Die-cast tuning machines support standard electric-guitar tuning setup, and the guitar ships with D'Addario XL110 Regular Light strings in .010-.046 gauge. Chrome hardware, G-Arrow knobs, and a pearloid Gretsch-logo pickguard give the instrument its classic Jet presentation.

The G5425 can be used with a standard guitar amplifier, pedalboard, or recording interface designed for electric guitars. Its passive humbucking pickup configuration makes it a practical option for clean, driven, and effects-based guitar rigs. A case is not included, so players who need transport protection should plan to purchase one separately.

Key Features

  • Chambered Jet Body: Basswood construction with an arched laminated maple top helps keep the instrument manageable.
  • Dual-Coil Humbuckers: Neck and bridge pickups offer three selectable pickup settings.
  • 24.6-Inch Scale: Shorter-scale layout supports familiar Gretsch-style playing feel.
  • Anchored Adjusto-Matic Bridge: Fixed bridge design provides adjustable intonation and stable string anchoring.
  • Rosewood Fingerboard: 12-inch radius, thumbnail inlays, and 22 medium-jumbo frets support fretting accuracy.
  • Simple Control Layout: Master volume and master tone controls make setup quick and direct.

Design & Installation

The G5425 uses a chambered basswood body with a gloss polyester finish, arched laminated maple top, maple neck, rosewood fingerboard, and chrome hardware. Its Black top is paired with a two-tone body treatment, while the pearloid pickguard carries the Gretsch logo. The Jet body shape, single cutaway, and G-Arrow control knobs reinforce its traditional Gretsch visual identity.

Set up the guitar with the supplied .010-.046 strings or a compatible replacement set, then connect it to an appropriate guitar amplifier or instrument input with a standard guitar cable. Use the bridge, neck, or combined pickup position to match the desired part, and adjust the master volume and tone controls at the guitar. The anchored bridge is intended for normal setup and intonation adjustment; a protective case should be purchased separately if needed for storage or transport.
