The 28.6-inch scale length reduces the distance between frets compared with a standard 34-inch bass scale. A slim C-shaped maple neck and thin poplar body support a comfortable playing position.

A Squier split single-coil Precision Bass pickup supplies the instrument's amplified voice. Volume and tone controls allow simple adjustment of output level and treble response. The pickup configuration is suited to foundational bass parts across practice, rehearsal, recording, and live-use setups.

The Mini Precision Bass uses a bolt-on maple neck, synthetic bone nut, and 4-saddle vintage-style bridge. Sealed die-cast tuning machines and the hardtail bridge provide the hardware foundation for tuning and intonation adjustment. Nickel-plated steel strings are fitted from the factory in .040-.095 gauges.

Design & Installation

The Black Mini Precision Bass pairs a gloss polyurethane poplar body with a satin urethane maple neck and Indian Laurel fingerboard. Pearloid dot inlays, a 1-ply white pickguard, chrome hardware, black pickup covers, and knurled flat-top knobs complete its traditional visual layout. The bolt-on neck uses a synthetic bone nut, head-adjust truss rod, and 20 narrow-tall frets.

No vehicle mounting or car-audio wiring applies because this is an electric bass guitar. Before use, tune the four strings, connect the instrument to compatible amplification with an instrument cable, and adjust volume and tone controls as needed. The bridge's four saddles allow normal bass setup and intonation service; the FE1225 gig bag is recommended by Fender but is not included.
