The Rockford Fosgate TMS57 is a pair of 5x7-inch, two-way coaxial speakers made as a replacement for compatible Harley-Davidson factory bag-lid speaker locations. It is intended for motorcycles equipped with factory BOOM! Audio or BOOM! Audio Stage-I saddlebag speaker systems using the 5x7-inch format. This upgrade replaces the existing speakers while retaining the motorcycle-specific mounting approach.

With a 4-ohm nominal impedance and 100-watt RMS power-handling rating, the TMS57 is designed for motorcycle audio systems that need stronger output capability than basic replacement speakers. Its 63 Hz to 20 kHz rated frequency response covers bass and midrange fundamentals along with extended high frequencies. The two-way coaxial layout keeps the woofer and tweeter in one compact assembly for bag-lid installation.

The speaker uses a carbon-fiber-reinforced polypropylene cone with a co-molded Santoprene VAST surround. A 35.6 mm voice coil and neodymium dual-magnet motor structure support its power handling in a compact design. High frequencies are handled by a 25 mm proprietary film dome tweeter with an integrated phase plug.

For exposed motorcycle use, the TMS57 is built with Rockford Fosgate's Element Ready design. Its construction includes a Santoprene front isolation spider between the tweeter housing and cone assembly, along with a poly-cotton spider and glass-reinforced polymer frame. These materials are selected to help address moisture, UV exposure, temperature changes, corrosion, vibration, and road conditions.

The TMS57 supports older and newer Harley-Davidson wiring arrangements with integrated spade terminals and a Deutsch-style factory connector. It is intended for compatible factory BOOM! Audio and BOOM! Audio Stage-I bag-lid locations, not BOOM! Audio Stage-II systems. Pair it with an amplifier or source channel matched for a 4-ohm speaker load and its 100-watt RMS rating.

The TMS57 uses a carbon-fiber-reinforced polypropylene cone, co-molded Santoprene VAST surround, poly-cotton spider, and Santoprene front isolation spider. Its low-profile coaxial tweeter assembly includes a neodymium tweeter motor, integrated phase plug, ASA grille, and concealed tweeter wire. An integrated 6 dB crossover with a high-power polyester capacitor is built into the speaker.

Confirm that the motorcycle has a compatible factory 5x7-inch BOOM! Audio or BOOM! Audio Stage-I bag-lid speaker location before ordering. The speakers have a 2.2-inch mounting depth and use either integrated spade terminals for 2013-and-earlier motorcycles or a Deutsch-style connector for 2014-and-newer motorcycles. The package includes a pair of speakers and mounting screws; grilles or trim rings are not included.
