The Rockford Fosgate P1V2-675 is a pair of 6.75-inch, 3-way coaxial car speakers designed as a direct upgrade from basic factory door or rear-deck speakers. Each speaker combines a full-range driver, inverted-dome tweeter, and piezo super tweeter in one assembly. This makes them a practical option for vehicles with a single speaker location per channel.

Rated at 75 watts RMS per speaker, the P1V2-675 can be used with a compatible aftermarket amplifier or a properly matched factory or aftermarket radio. Its 4-ohm nominal impedance suits many conventional vehicle audio systems. The 49 Hz to 25 kHz frequency response supports full-range playback with defined upper-frequency detail.

The 3-way layout adds dedicated high-frequency drivers above the 6.75-inch main cone. A 3/4-inch Tetolon inverted-dome tweeter handles upper-frequency content, while a 3/8-inch polypropylene piezo super tweeter extends the high end. This arrangement is intended to bring more detail to music than a basic single-cone factory speaker.

Rockford Fosgate uses VAST 2.0 surround geometry to increase effective cone area, along with a mica-reinforced polypropylene cone and Santoprene rubber surround. The speaker also uses an integrated concealed crossover and a vented Kapton voice-coil former. These elements support controlled operation in a compact coaxial design.

The P1V2-675 is suited to door and rear-deck upgrades where fitment depth and cutout size have been verified. Its removable motor cover can help in tighter mounting locations. It is sold as a pair and includes installation hardware, a cutout template, short speaker-wire sections, and crimp connectors.

Design & Installation

The P1V2-675 uses a mica-reinforced polypropylene cone, chemically bonded co-molded surround and cone body, Santoprene rubber surround, linear Nomex spider, and a glass-fiber-reinforced PA66 composite basket. Its 3/4-inch Tetolon inverted-dome tweeter, 3/8-inch polypropylene piezo super tweeter, Y35 ferrite motor structure, and vented Kapton voice-coil former are integrated into the coaxial assembly. The speaker has co-molded basket terminals and a removable motor cover.

Verify the 5.67-inch cutout, 2.48-inch standard mounting depth, and 0.51-inch front-side clearance before installation; removing the motor cover reduces the minimum mounting depth requirement to 2.24 inches. Route wiring before mounting, observe terminal polarity, and check door-window and lock operation through their full range before fastening the speaker. Grilles are not included; compatible Rockford Fosgate GS-675 surface-mount and GF-675 flush-mount grilles are sold separately.
