The Hifonics ZS35CX is a pair of 3.5-inch, 2-way coaxial car speakers designed to replace factory speakers or support a compact vehicle-audio upgrade. Their small format suits vehicles with 3.5-inch speaker locations where space is limited. Each speaker combines a woofer and tweeter in one assembly for a straightforward installation approach.

With 25 watts RMS and 125 watts peak power handling per speaker, the ZS35CX is intended for modest-power factory-radio or external-amplifier systems. Its 4-ohm impedance is common in automotive audio applications. The specified 80 Hz to 20 kHz frequency response covers midrange and high-frequency duties in a full-range speaker system.

The speaker uses a 1-inch Neo-Mylar soft-dome tweeter to handle high-frequency detail. A passive Butterworth crossover at 6 kHz with a 12 dB slope directs frequencies between the woofer and tweeter. This integrated crossover design helps provide a more controlled handoff between the two drivers.

An Alpha-Cellulose woofer cone and rubber surround form the low- and mid-frequency section of each speaker. The woofer is paired with a pure-copper voice coil on a Kapton former, while an overcoil air-exchange design supports heat dissipation around the voice coil. An epoxy-infused natural-fiber spider provides suspension support for the moving assembly.

Published installation dimensions list a 3.1-inch cutout and 1.63-inch top-mount depth; check clearance behind the mounting surface and around moving window mechanisms where applicable.
