The Shure SE846G2GT is a wired Sound Isolating earphone system designed for detailed personal listening, professional monitoring, and portable audio use. Four balanced-armature drivers are arranged in a three-way system with dedicated low-, mid-, and high-frequency distribution. A built-in low-pass filter supports the SE846 Gen 2's deep low-frequency presentation without requiring a larger headphone enclosure.

The Gen 2 model includes four interchangeable nozzle inserts that let listeners alter the earphones' frequency response. Extended, balanced, warm, and bright inserts provide distinct tonal options without electronic EQ or an app. The extended insert is installed from the factory, while the other inserts can be fitted with the included nozzle tool.

Sound Isolating sleeves help create an acoustic seal and can attenuate outside noise by up to 37 dB. A proper seal is important for bass response, comfort, and isolation, so Shure includes several sleeve styles and sizes. The detachable MMCX cable system supports replacement cables and compatible Shure cable accessories. Design & Installation

The SE846G2GT uses a compact, ergonomic in-ear housing with an optimized nozzle angle and an over-ear cable design. Select the sleeve that creates a snug acoustic seal, then route the cable over and behind each ear and use the cable cinch to manage slack.
