The AONIC 50 Gen 2 uses a 50 mm dynamic driver with a neodymium magnet, a 20 Hz to 22 kHz frequency response, and 39-ohm impedance. Its sound platform also supports a built-in headphone amplifier and several Bluetooth codecs, including aptX Adaptive, AAC, LDAC, and SBC. For wired listening, it accepts analog audio through its 3.5 mm cable and digital audio through USB-C.

Spatialized Audio processing provides Music, Cinema, and Podcast modes to change the perceived presentation of compatible content. The ShurePlus PLAY app adds control over ANC, Environment Mode, Spatializer settings, and a 4-band parametric EQ. Custom EQ settings are saved to the headphones, so preferences can carry across compatible apps and devices.

With up to 45 hours of battery life and a quick-charge function that provides up to five hours of use from a 15-minute charge, the AONIC 50 Gen 2 is built for extended daily use. The AONIC 50 Gen 2 uses a patented fold-flat headphone design in an all-black finish for portable over-ear listening.
