This kit is designed for installers and enthusiasts who want correctly sized full-spec cable rather than piecing together individual wiring components. Its 4 AWG power and ground cables provide the main electrical path from the battery to the amplifier. A MAXI fuse holder and included 100-amp fuse provide circuit protection at the power-wire connection.

Rockford Fosgate uses Pure Crystal Oxygen-Free Copper (PC-OFC) conductors in the power, ground, and speaker wiring. The 4 AWG cable uses a high strand count for flexibility, while the included 16 AWG speaker wire supports amplifier-to-speaker connections. A twisted-pair RCA patch cable is included to carry low-level audio signal from a compatible source unit to the amplifier.

Beyond the main cable runs, the RFK4X includes a remote turn-on lead, cable ties, a grommet, connectors, and protective rubber boots. These included pieces help complete common wiring and termination steps without requiring separate hardware for every connection. The power cable includes an in-line MAXI fuse holder and a battery-end ring terminal.

The RFK4X fits naturally into a system upgrade that adds an aftermarket amplifier while retaining a compatible source unit with RCA outputs. Design & Installation

The RFK4X combines PC-OFC copper conductors, high-strand-count cable construction, flexible jackets, and brass termination parts. Its red translucent power cable and gray translucent ground cable help distinguish the primary electrical runs during installation. The RCA, power, and speaker cables are designed with flexible jackets for routing through a vehicle.

Route the 17-foot power cable from the battery to the amplifier and install its in-line MAXI fuse holder near the battery connection. Use the 3-foot ground cable for a short, secure chassis ground connection, then run the RCA cable, remote lead, and speaker wire as needed for the amplifier layout. Disconnect the vehicle battery before installation and follow the amplifier and vehicle manufacturer's instructions.
