STX Audio SX4CXL 4 AWG Amplifier Wiring Kit

The STX Audio SX4CXL is a 4 AWG amplifier wiring kit designed to supply power, grounding, signal, remote turn-on, and speaker-wire connections for an aftermarket audio amplifier installation. It brings the core wiring pieces together in one package for installers upgrading a vehicle audio system. The kit is intended for mid- to high-power amplifier applications where properly sized power and ground wiring are required.

Its True Spec 4 AWG power and ground cable is paired with a 17-foot power run and a 3-foot ground lead. This cable arrangement supports typical front-battery-to-rear-amplifier layouts while keeping the ground connection short at the amplifier location. The included 17-foot remote wire provides a dedicated turn-on connection between the source unit and amplifier.

For audio signal transfer, the SX4CXL includes a 17-foot double-shielded RCA cable. Double shielding is intended to help reduce the potential for interference along the signal path. A 20-foot speaker wire is also included for connecting an amplifier to speakers or a subwoofer enclosure.

Power-circuit protection is handled with an ANL fuse holder and two supplied fuse options: 150A and 200A. This gives the installer a choice of fuse rating to match the requirements of the connected amplifier system. Fuse selection should be based on the amplifier manufacturer's specifications and the complete electrical design.

The SX4CXL is suited to cars, trucks, motorcycles, ATVs, and RVs using an aftermarket amplifier. It is a practical foundation for a single-amplifier installation when the included cable lengths fit the planned routing. Design & Installation

This kit combines True Spec 4 AWG power and ground cable, a double-shielded RCA cable, an ANL fuse holder, remote wire, and speaker wire in a coordinated installation package. The wiring lengths are selected for flexible routing, with 17-foot power and RCA cables for longer runs and a 3-foot ground cable for a short chassis connection. The supplied ANL fuses provide two protection-rating options up to 200A.

Route the power cable from the battery through the fuse holder and toward the amplifier, and install the fuse holder close to the battery according to the amplifier and vehicle instructions. Keep the ground cable as short as practical and connect it to a clean, secure chassis-ground point. Route RCA signal cable separately from the power cable when practical, then verify the selected fuse rating, terminal fitment, and all connections before powering the system.
