Rockford Fosgate RZR14-DK Upper/Lower Polaris RZR Dash Kit

The Rockford Fosgate RZR14-DK is a vehicle-specific upper and lower dash mounting kit for adding a compatible Rockford Fosgate PMX marine source unit to select Polaris RZR models. It replaces a factory dash storage-pocket location with a clean, integrated receiver mounting position. The kit is intended for RZR owners building or expanding an off-road audio system while retaining a factory-style dash appearance.

This kit supports PMX-1, PMX-2, and PMX-3 digital marine receivers in select 2014 and newer Polaris RZR models. It also supports the PMX-8DH display head in select 2019 and newer RZR models. The source unit is sold separately, allowing the installer to choose the receiver features that suit the rest of the audio system.

As a mounting accessory, the RZR14-DK does not add amplification or change the sound of the audio system on its own. Instead, it provides a stable, dedicated location for the receiver that controls music playback and connected audio components. Overall system performance will depend on the installed PMX source unit, amplifiers, speakers, wiring, and tuning.

The dash components are custom molded and textured to coordinate with the factory dash. Injection-molded Centrex plastic with integrated UV inhibitors is used for the trim components, helping the kit suit the exposed environment of an off-road vehicle. A metal mounting plate and plastic mounting frame provide the receiver mounting structure behind the trim panel.

For 2014 through 2018 applications, compatible PMX-1, PMX-2, and PMX-3 receivers mount in the lower dash pocket. On select 2019 and newer RZR models, compatible PMX-1, PMX-2, PMX-3, and PMX-8DH units may be installed in either the upper or lower pocket location. The kit includes its receiver and dash mounting hardware, plus a vehicle-oriented harness and wired antenna for a more complete installation path.

Design & Installation

The RZR14-DK uses a trim panel, metal mounting plate, plastic mounting frame, and upper/lower outer trim panels to create an integrated receiver location. Its injection-molded Centrex plastic construction includes UV inhibitors, while the textured and color-matched treatment is designed to complement the vehicle interior. The kit replaces the applicable factory storage pocket rather than using a universal surface-mount solution.

Confirm RZR and receiver compatibility before purchase, since fitment is limited to select Polaris RZR models and mounting location varies by model year. Install the selected PMX receiver using the supplied hardware, connect the included 36-inch 12-pin power/ground/speaker harness, and route the included 6-foot wired antenna as appropriate for the vehicle. A PMX-8DH installation also requires the separately purchased PMX-8BB hideaway black box, and hardware for mounting that optional black box is not included.
