Built for select 2014 and newer Polaris RZR applications, the MX-CAM-RZR14 uses a tail-light T-harness to obtain camera power from the vehicle connection. That plug-in approach helps reduce wiring guesswork during installation. The kit does not include the MX-CAM camera itself, so it is an installation accessory rather than a complete camera system.

The harness is designed to work directly with Rockford Fosgate PMX-3 and PMX-8DH source-unit systems using its included trigger connection. It also provides a composite-video connection for compatible source units with a video input and reverse-trigger capability. Because it is a camera installation kit, it does not change the sound character or playback performance of the audio system.

A panel-mount rocker switch gives the driver a convenient way to call up the camera view when used with a compatible display and source unit. The switch uses backlit camera markings for visibility and status indication. This makes the kit useful for reversing, maneuvering around trailers, and checking behind the vehicle on the trail.

For 2014–2018 RZR models, the package includes a 0.75-inch hole saw for creating the camera mounting opening. Select 2019 and newer RZR models use a direct-fit camera location instead.
