The kit is intended for Ranger owners building or updating an off-road audio system with a Rockford Fosgate PMX-0, PMX-2, or PMX-3 source unit.

This is an installation and integration accessory, not a stereo or amplifier itself. It does not add audio power or change the sound character of the system; instead, it creates a proper place to mount the selected source unit and its related wiring. That makes it a practical foundation for a Ranger audio upgrade that can later include speakers, amplifiers, and subwoofers.

The custom-molded trim panel is designed to match the appearance of the existing Ranger dash. Its layout retains access to the OEM electrical switches, 12-volt accessory connection, and lower storage-pocket area. The RFRNGR-PMXDK is designed for select Gen-1 Polaris Ranger applications and uses OEM mounting locations for a direct-fit installation. It is included with certain Rockford Fosgate Ranger Stage system packages, and it can also be used as part of a custom PMX-based system. Mounting hardware and installation-related components are supplied to support the dash-kit and source-unit installation.
