Rockford Fosgate RFPOL-RC5 Polaris Ride Command Audio Interface

The Rockford Fosgate RFPOL-RC5 is a vehicle-specific audio interface for Polaris side-by-sides equipped with a factory Ride Command source unit. It connects the factory audio system to a compatible Rockford Fosgate five-channel amplifier without replacing the Ride Command display. This makes it a practical foundation for a staged UTV audio upgrade while retaining familiar factory source controls.

Designed for Polaris RZR, GENERAL, and RANGER models with Ride Command, the RFPOL-RC5 extracts front, rear, and subwoofer audio signals from the factory source. Its two-part harness arrangement interfaces with the factory speaker-amplifier and subwoofer-amplifier connections. The result is proper signal routing for an amplified system using the Ride Command source unit.

The interface is intended for systems using the Rockford Fosgate Power TM1000X5ad or M5-1500X5 five-channel amplifier. It provides a dedicated remote-output lead to switch on the compatible amplifier with the vehicle's audio system. The RFPOL-RC5 is an interface and harness solution, not an amplifier or speaker package.

Rockford Fosgate engineered the RFPOL-RC5 with active electronic noise suppression for Polaris applications. It is designed to reduce Ride Command turn-on pop and Pulse-Width-Modulated noise associated with vehicles using DYNAMIX suspension. This helps preserve a cleaner signal path before the audio reaches the amplifier.

The RFPOL-RC5 also retains the factory Ride Command crossover functions, including 100 Hz high-pass and 100 Hz low-pass filtering. That factory signal management supports correct distribution of frequency ranges within a compatible amplified system. Pre-configured harness connections support a plug-and-play-oriented installation approach for applicable Ride Command-equipped Polaris vehicles.
