Memphis DBLOCKPGM Marine Fused Power/Ground Distribution Block

The Memphis DBLOCKPGM is a marine-grade power and ground distribution block designed to organize accessory wiring in boats, powersports vehicles, and other 12-volt systems. It provides a centralized point for splitting protected power and ground connections instead of stacking multiple wires at a battery or amplifier terminal. Its sealed design helps keep wiring organized where water exposure and vibration are part of the installation environment.

This block is intended for installers adding amplifiers, LED lighting, electronic coolers, navigation equipment, and other compatible accessories. Primary distribution terminals support larger-gauge wiring for main power and ground runs, while secondary ring-terminal outputs serve smaller accessory circuits. The layout makes it easier to build a cleaner multi-accessory electrical system from a single hub.

The DBLOCKPGM does not process audio or change the sound character of a system; its role is to support dependable power and ground distribution for audio and accessory equipment. Fused positive-output provisions add circuit protection at the distribution point. Separate positive and negative connection sections help simplify routing and service work when expanding a system.

Memphis uses IPX5 marine-grade construction and water-resistant gaskets to help limit water intrusion at the terminals. A high-temperature transparent protective cover shields the connection area while allowing visual access to the wiring and fuse locations. Sturdy screw-in terminals provide a secure connection method for the supported wire sizes.

For system upgrades, the DBLOCKPGM can serve as the distribution center between a main power run and multiple downstream accessories. It combines large-wire primary distribution with smaller secondary ATC-fused and ground outputs for ring-terminal wiring. An extra ATC fuse-holder location and a stowable Torx wrench add practical flexibility for installation and future accessory expansion.

Design & Installation

The DBLOCKPGM uses a compact distribution-block format with screw-in terminals, water-resistant terminal gaskets, and a high-temperature transparent protective cover. Its marine-grade IPX5 construction is designed for installations that may encounter spray or wet conditions. The cover encloses the connection area while retaining access to the stored Torx wrench.

Use the primary 0/4-gauge connections for main power and ground distribution, then connect suitable downstream wiring to the sealed 4/8-gauge outputs or secondary ring-terminal outputs. The four secondary positive outputs use ATC fusing, while the secondary ground outputs accept individually sealed ring-terminal connections up to 14 gauge. Select appropriate wire, terminals, fuses, mounting location, and circuit protection for each connected accessory.
