The JVC CS-V4627 is a pair of 4 x 6-inch, 2-way coaxial car speakers designed to replace compatible factory speakers. It brings the woofer and tweeter together in each speaker, making it a practical option for compact door, dash, or rear-deck locations that use this size. With a 4-ohm impedance and 20-watt RMS power handling, it is suited to many standard car-audio speaker circuits.

These speakers are intended for drivers who want to refresh aging or damaged factory speakers without moving to a separate-component system. Their 55 Hz to 25 kHz frequency response covers bass, vocals, and high-frequency detail within a compact 4 x 6-inch format. The 85 dB/W.m sound-pressure rating and 5 kHz crossover frequency support a balanced handoff between the woofer and tweeter.

A Carbon Mica Cone is used for the woofer, combining a lightweight construction with the rigidity needed for controlled cone movement. JVC pairs it with a Hybrid Surround made from rubber and cloth. For upper-frequency reproduction, each CS-V4627 uses a 1-inch Poly-Ether Imide balanced tweeter with a neodymium magnet. The woofer uses a strontium ferrite magnet and stamped steel frame. Together, these materials provide the core structure for the speaker's coaxial design.

The CS-V4627 can be used with a compatible factory radio or an external amplifier that is properly matched to its 4-ohm load and 20-watt RMS rating. Its 44.8 mm mounting depth can help when planning an installation in shallow factory locations, but vehicle-specific mounting clearance should always be checked first. Design & Installation

The CS-V4627 uses a stamped steel woofer frame, Carbon Mica Cone, hybrid rubber-and-cloth surround, strontium ferrite woofer magnet, and neodymium tweeter magnet. Each speaker has a specified mounting depth of 44.8 mm and weighs 450 g. The compact oval format is made for applications that accept a 4 x 6-inch speaker.

Before installation, verify the vehicle's mounting opening, panel clearance, window travel, and speaker depth. Turn off amplifier power before connecting the speakers, observe speaker polarity, and leave enough wire slack to prevent damage. The supplied mounting brackets, M3 screws, M5 washers, M3 nuts, and speaker cords can be used where appropriate; a vehicle-specific installation kit may still be needed.
