JVC HA-FW1000T Wood True Wireless Earbuds

The JVC HA-FW1000T is a true wireless in-ear headphone system designed for listeners who want detailed portable audio without a cable connection. Its compact earbuds pair with Bluetooth devices for music, calls, and everyday listening. A charging case is included for storage and recharging between uses.

These earbuds use a large 11 mm WOOD dome driver with a wood diaphragm and carbon-coated PET construction. The design combines a flexible outer diaphragm area with a stronger central dome, while a stainless-steel driver case and acoustic chamber support the driver assembly. JVC specifies a neodymium magnet and 16-ohm impedance.

For travel, commutes, and shared spaces, the HA-FW1000T provides hybrid active noise cancellation with Qualcomm Adaptive Active Noise Cancellation. The system monitors ear-tip sealing and adjusts noise-cancellation performance to suit the fit. An ambient sound mode and Touch & Talk function help users hear nearby sounds without removing the earbuds.

The HA-FW1000T supports SBC, AAC, Qualcomm aptX audio, and Qualcomm aptX Adaptive audio codecs. With a compatible source device, aptX Adaptive support can handle audio up to 96 kHz/24-bit. JVC's K2 Technology is also included to process compressed audio sources.

Battery life is rated for up to 9 hours per charge with noise cancellation and K2 off using AAC, with up to 27 hours total when the charging case is included. The earbuds are rated IPX4 for resistance to splashes, and each earbud can be used independently. Spiral Dot Pro ear pieces in five sizes are supplied to help tailor fit and seal.

Design & Installation

The HA-FW1000T uses a contoured in-ear shape intended to follow the ear, with touch controls, integrated microphones, and wearing-detection sensors. Its driver system includes a wood dome diaphragm, carbon-coated PET material, a neodymium magnet, and a stainless-steel driver case. The earbuds are IPX4 rated for splash resistance; this rating applies to the earphones rather than the charging case.

No vehicle installation, amplifier wiring, or mounting hardware is required. Charge the earbuds and case with the included USB Type-C to Type-A charging cable, select the correct Spiral Dot Pro ear-piece size, then pair them with a Bluetooth source device. For aptX Adaptive playback, the connected source device must also support that codec.
