Audison DRC AC Digital Remote Control

The Audison DRC AC is a compact wired digital remote control for managing key functions of a compatible Audison AF bit amplifier with integrated DSP. It places everyday system adjustments within easy reach rather than requiring access to the amplifier or a connected computer. Its rotary control and illuminated feedback are designed for clean integration into a vehicle dashboard or console.

This controller is intended for Audison AF bit DSP amplifier installations using the DRCC connection. It can manage master volume and selected secondary controls, including source selection, memory selection, sub-group volume, and Final Tuning activation when configured for those functions. The DRC AC is a useful addition for listeners who want direct, repeatable control of a tuned DSP system from the driver’s seat.

A ring of RGB LEDs indicates the active function and volume position, helping make adjustments visible in changing cabin light. The controller uses a central push/rotary knob: rotate it for volume changes and press it to move through enabled functions. A quick double press can access source, memory, and Final Tuning actions according to the system configuration.

Configuration is handled through Audison bit Drive software, which can assign up to five functions and LED colors to the DRC AC. Out of the box, it is set for master volume, source change volume, memory change, sub-group volume, and Final Tuning on/off. This lets the remote be tailored to the priorities of a particular DSP tune and system layout.

The DRC AC connects to the compatible amplifier’s DRCC port using the included cable, which carries both power and control. It can also be used to turn a compatible AF bit amplifier on and off under the appropriate system conditions. With surface and recessed mounting arrangements, it supports a discreet installation while keeping system control accessible.

Design & Installation

The DRC AC has a compact circular form with a central rotary knob and an RGB LED ring. Its mounting hardware arrangement supports either a visible top-mounted presentation or a more integrated recessed look. The LED brightness can be adjusted in bit Drive, and a sleep mode turns off all but one LED after five seconds of inactivity.

Connect the supplied DRC AC cable between the controller and the DRCC port on a compatible AF bit amplifier. For either mounting method, route the cable through the specified opening so the LED ring remains correctly aligned. Use bit Drive after installation to choose enabled functions, assign LED colors, set brightness, and save the configuration to the controller.
