Single DIN vs Double DIN Head Units

What "DIN" means

DIN is the chassis size. Single DIN = 2" tall (classic radio slot). Double DIN = 4" tall, which is what makes big touchscreens possible. Your dash opening decides, most vehicles from the mid-2000s on accept double DIN with the right dash kit.
