Advanced Lyre Suspension System

Featuring the Rycote Lyre suspension system with internal spacing guide, the Blimp provides superior acoustic suspension compared to traditional elastic mounts. This durable system prevents sagging or snapping while isolating the microphone from vibration and handling noise.

Ergonomic, Lightweight Design

Constructed from a single piece of hard-wearing thermoplastic, the Blimp is over 25% lighter than previous models. Its redesigned handle improves ergonomics for handheld use and allows easy attachment to any standard boom pole with a 3/8" thread. Compatible with NTG1, NTG2, NTG3, and most 325mm shotgun microphones.
